Numbers to Neighbors:

How Nonprofits Track Impact and Deliver Results in Nassau and Suffolk

Event Overview

Join us for our Inaugural Legislative Breakfast, bringing together nonprofit leaders, elected officials, and community stakeholders for an important conversation about nonprofit impact on Long Island.

Nonprofits play a critical role in addressing Long Island’s most pressing challenges—from food insecurity and mental health to housing stability and youth services. This breakfast is designed to demonstrate how nonprofit organizations across Nassau and Suffolk Counties turn public and private investments into measurable, meaningful results.

Through a clear blend of data and real-world stories, attendees will gain insight into how nonprofits track outcomes, measure success, and stabilize lives—without imposing unnecessary administrative burdens.

As policymakers and funders evaluate accountability and funding decisions, it is essential to understand how nonprofits already measure impact and deliver results efficiently.

This event will:

  • Show how nonprofits track and report meaningful outcomes
  • Highlight real results achieved across Nassau and Suffolk Counties
  • Demonstrate how data and storytelling work together to show impact
  • Reinforce the value of nonprofit–government partnerships on Long Island

This breakfast is designed for:

  • Elected officials and legislative staff interested in nonprofit impact and accountability
  • Nonprofit executive directors and senior leaders
  • Nonprofit board members and trustees
  • Foundations, funders, and corporate partners
  • Community leaders and advocates focused on strengthening Long Island
