We are searching for a reliable Assistant Financial Manager to join our dynamic team. This person will work closely with the Financial Manager and Executive Director on all financial aspects of the organization. We offer competitive benefits, flexible schedule and a great working environment.


  • Assist Financial Manager in the compilation of Agency budgets
  • Process bi-weekly payroll; Maintain accurate records of employee salary changes; Issue 1099s for contractual services
  • Prepare grant budgets in conjunction with Associate Executive Director
  • Monitor financial administration of grants to ensure that proper documentation is submitted for expenditures and that requests for funds are made within specified time limitations
  • Prepare and submit timely monthly claims and budget modifications where appropriate; Monitor Budget Tracking to properly manage and communicate over/underspending of funds
  • Coordinate MWBE reporting and prepare necessary information for Audits
  • Track deadlines and coordinate contracting, reporting and submission of invoices and budgets

Skills, Education & Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and manage corporate budgets
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) and Quickbooks
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field or minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
