Pal-O-Mine Equestrian began in 1995 as a therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals with disabilities and other vulnerable populations. Our mission has been, and continues to be, to provide a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Our populations include children and adults with disabilities, those who have been abused or neglected, the military and the impoverished.
Who we are looking for:
Extensive horse experience a MUST.
Individuals who are able to follow instruction, take direction and complete work independently in a disciplined fast-paced environment.
Able to perform a variety of work in the barn including tacking, grooming, assist with riding lessons, and schooling horses when needed.
Work can be physically demanding. This includes walking for long periods of time, lifting, pushing wheelchairs. Our program runs 12 months a year.
