The East River International Food Festival
The first annual East River International Food Festival takes place on the waterfront in Long Island City. It’s an amazing celebration of the Queens multicultural food scene coming back stronger than ever.
Enjoy a curated tasting event with chef stations, a cash bar, beautiful views of the East River and Manhattan. This event supports Queens restaurants, food pantries with Zone126.org, and Queens Together.

Sample a diverse lineup of international dishes from around the World’s Borough, including Afghan abzi, Bangladeshi biryani, Guyanese curry and roti, Mexican mole, Palestinian Falafel, Sri Lankan kottu, Thai papaya salad. Guests will have a chance to chat with notable Queens chefs, including Hugue Dufour of M. Wells and Matt Fisher of Queens Custom BBQ.
Eat your way around the world and the World’s Borough while supporting a good cause at this unique food hall tasting event with these participating restaurants: Nepali Bhanchha Ghar Halal, Ornella Trattoria, Il Bambino, Zaab Zaab, La Adelita, Queens Lanka, M. Wells, Real Veggie Cafe Vegan, Queens Custom BBQ, Sami’s Kabab Halal, Leticia’s, The Nest, Tito Rads, The Nourish Spot Vegan, King Of Falafel Hahal, Dough Doughnuts, Rincon Criollo, Sultan’s Dine Halal, Breezes Island Grill, Taste of Surabaya There will be halal, vegan and vegetarian tastings. Restaurants will be added as they sign up.

Tickets are $50 per person. Ticket price includes entree to the event and “tastings” from all chef stations. A cash bar will be available from Anable Basin. Children 12 yrs and younger admitted free when accompanied by a parent.
